Karzhan Level 5 Team Guides (Summoners War)

progression guides Jun 11, 2019

Karzhan is the first Dimension in the Dimensional Hole. This is where you can second awaken your Inugami’s, Warbears, and farm Ancient Runes of: Rage, Blade, Nemesis, Endure, Energy.

Karzhan is broken up into two areas, the Karzhan Remains where you second awaken monsters and Forest of Roaring Beasts where you can farm the new more powerful runes.

Please note that in this dimension you will be limited to using only natural 4-star and below monsters.

Table of Context Links:

Karzhan Remains (Second Awakenings)

In order to second awaken an Inugami or Warbear you must have them fight on your team in the Karzhan Remains. They will also have to be max level and skilled up to complete the second awakening.

If you don’t have good runes you will most likely need to level up and put runes on the monster you’re trying to second awaken.

Inugami Level 5 Team Builds (Awakening Dungeon)

Attack Bar reduction and Attack Bar increase are both very strong here, you’ll need to make sure your team is not super squishie otherwise they will die on the waves or from the damage from the towers on the boss stage. Other than that you just want as much Attack bar control and damage as possible to nuke down the boss before he can get a turn.

All of the team builds we suggest are pretty Free-To-Play (F2P) friendly with at least a few being 100% F2P and accessible for everyone to build.

The Safe teams are recommended for players that don’t have good runes. If you’re look for more in-depth guides we cover the Awakening Dungeons more in our Ultimate Progression Guide, where we give you all the stats and builds you’ll need for each monster.

Strong Monsters: Verdehile, Fran, Hwa, Loren, Shaina, Sabrina, Maruna

Speed Team Examples:

  • Sabrina, Shaina, Verdehile (L), (Awakening Monster)
  • Shaina, Maruna, Verdehile (L), (Awakening Monster)
  • Fran (L), Sabrina, Shaina, (Awakening Monster)
  • Fran (L), Shaina, Maruna, (Awakening Monster)

Safe Team Examples:

  • Fran, Hwa, Verdehile (L), (Awakening Monster)
  • Fran, Loren, Verdehile (L), (Awakening Monster)
  • Fran, Hwa (L), Shaina, (Awakening Monster)

Attack Order: If you have good enough runes you should be able to go straight for the boss and ignore the side towers. If your runes aren't good enough you should kill the left tower first then the boss.

Warbear Level 5 Team Builds (Awakening Dungeon)

Attack Bar reduction and Attack Bar increase are both very strong here, also having a strip and or silence to stop the boss from using his counter attack buff is also very good.

All of the team builds we suggest are pretty Free-To-Play (F2P) friendly with at least a few being 100% F2P and accessible for everyone to build.

The Safe teams are recommended for players that don’t have good runes. If you’re looking for more in-depth guides we cover the Awakening Dungeons more in our Ultimate Progression Guide, where we give you all the stats and builds you’ll need for each monster.

  • Fran, Hwa, Verdehile (L), (Awakening Monster)
  • Belladeon, Hwa, Verdehile (L), (Awakening Monster)
  • Fran, Loren, Verdehile (L), (Awakening Monster)

Attack Order: If you have good enough runes you should be able to go straight for the boss and ignore the side towers. If your runes aren't good enough you should kill the left tower first then the boss.

Forest of Roaring Beasts (Rune Dungeon)

The twins aren’t good here because their multi-hits stack the bosses speed passive up very quickly and they tend to be too squishie for the rune dungeons. The things you want for this dungeon is Attack Bar reduction / Attack bar increase, Attack Break, and protection in the form of immunity and or shield.

Immunity is good to stop your healers from getting stunned so they can keep your team alive and Khmun is great because even if your healers do get stunned his shield passive will still save whoever the enemies are targeting from dyeing. Belladeon is arguably the best healer for this dungeon because you can use her to tank the waves and boss since the rest of your team will likely be fire element and she provides defense break, heal, and Attack Bar increase.

All of the team builds we suggest are pretty Free-To-Play (F2P) friendly with at least one being 100% F2P and accessible for everyone to build.

The thing to note about this dungeon is it’s much harder than the awakening dungeons and I would highly recommend using Belladeon and Khmun as they are two of the best monsters for this dungeon.

If you’re looking for more in-depth guides we cover the Dimensional Hole Rune Dungeons more in our Rune Farming Guide, where we give you all the stats and builds you’ll need for each monster.
